As we approach the end of the second year and the midpoint of the project, our partner, the University of Belgrade – Faculty of Pharmacy, organized the MSCA SE CardioSCOPE Reintegration Day as a showcase of the project’s progress and an opportunity to transfer the newly gained skills and knowledge back to the home institution.
Jelena Munjas presented the basic ideas and concepts behind the project, along with the current advancements. Team members shared their experiences during the secondments, highlighting the research skills they gained, the impact on their careers, and, just as importantly, how the secondments enriched their personal lives. They spoke about the enjoyment of exploring new countries and cultures, building lasting friendships, and how these experiences have broadened their social horizons.
So far, the Faculty of Pharmacy has organized 15 PM of interdisciplinary and intersectoral secondments in Biosfer Teslab, B.S.N. – BIOLOGICAL SALES NETWORK S.R.L., Fondazione Bruno Kessler – FBK and the Genetic lab. The event was open to other peers (teachers and students).
The date of September 25th was intentionally selected to coincide with World Pharmacists Day, offering a chance to highlight how this project is driving advancements in healthcare. With World Heart Day approaching, it also provided an excellent opportunity to raise awareness about cardiovascular diseases (CVD).
