Secondment 14: From Fondazione Bruno Kessler (FBK) to Biosfer Teslab

“During my stay at BT, I acquainted myself with the metabolic output analysis of the NMR machine, leveraging the expertise of my colleagues. Furthermore, I initiated an exploration into clinical metabolomics data, akin to what will be available for the CardioSCOPE cohort. Employing unsupervised machine learning techniques, we successfully delineated clusters of metabolomics profiles within the population, some of which exhibited correlations with specific pathologies. These preliminary findings lay the groundwork for applying similar methodologies to the CardioSCOPE cohort in the future.”
